Kathy was born in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL and moved to NB with her parents and two older brothers when she was three years old. She has lived in the Fredericton area most of her life and currently lives with her husband, Mark and their puppy, Gunner in Rusagonis. She has one son and Mark has one son, two daughters, and two granddaughters.
Kathy and Mark share a love of dogs and motorcycling, so the three of them will be travelling around the Atlantic provinces once the Covid restrictions lift.
Kathy has a bachelor's degree in office management and is currently working part-time on a master's degree in adult education, both at UNB. Prior to beginning her position here at Wilmot Church in April 2021, she was at UNB for 30 years; one of many highlights was her job working with the Ministry of Education in Bhutan.
She was raised in the United Church (in both NL and NB) and Rev Ron Vincent was her minister in Tide Head, NB from about 1972 to 1980. With fond memories of that time in her life and the warm welcome she's received here at Wilmot, she is pleased to be a part of this community.
